I do love The Music Man! So what role does your son have in it?
Andrew's playing the role of Tommy Djilas (the teen-age trouble-maker who likes the Mayor's daughter). He's so cute in the role!!
The production of "The Music Man" is a first for our small town. They received a grant to produce it. And it's really a "community" effort. My good friend Randy from our church (a professional Christian actor--owns his own theatre company) has the lead. So, it's a good "witnessing" vehicle as well. It opens in a week and a half. So, say a prayer or two!!
Wish I could come see it! When our son Jeremy was about Andrew's age our high school drama department did a summer production of Carousel in which they included adult and college-age actors and actresses. Jeremy had a good role. That was such a great experience. I wish they still did summer productions, but I guess finances is a big issue. Football is the absolutely most important thing in that school.
I love your grateful journal. Something we should each practice doing every day!
i LOVE Dairy Queen too! we grew up on it down in So.East Georgia.... can you believe there all over Massachusetts, too?! ... well, Dunkin' Donuts is REALLY all over Massachusetts, but I can find Dairy Queen quicker than Chick-Fil-A OR Papa John's OR Cracker Barrel.
i think i'm hungry.....
