I'm still standing!
Despite my lack of posting during the past month, I am still here--alive and gaining strength daily. I'm still trying to find that happy medium between balancing work and home--a constant challenge for me.
St. Louis is under a layer or I guess more accurately I should say layers of ice. FBU closed yesterday and was on a snow schedule today. Our local school system has canceled the past two days. Needless to say, things are moving pretty slowly here. And since I actually live south of th city, over the river in Illinois we actually have MORE ice than the St. Louis area. Yes, I will be so thankful when Spring comes around!
So, I'm home today--snug as a bug in the rug. Although I've been pretty "unproductive," I have been very self-nurturing--something I'm just beginning to do better at this stage in my life. So what does fun does the evening hold? I'm thinking of ordering in pizza, putting on jammies, and watching tv.
Yes, life is good even when it's icy.
Staying warm and toasty,
~Cheryl

Hi friend! Good to see you are feeling better! Sorry to hear you are under ice! Looks like we could be getting some come Tuesday...that or another snow storm. Yay. (Not.)

Glad you are keeping roasty toasty. Also glad you are feeling better and on the mend.
OK, when we meet face to face in San Antonio...let's be prepared for a lot of fun and laughter. I laughed when I read your comment on my blog about panty hose and open toes shoes. I hate to tell you but she wears panty hose when she wears a swimsuit. She has a long way to go.
hi cheryl, glad you are on the mends. i thought you guys should have some of what we got(ice/snow) or is it the other way around? pizza is a king in my house. our favorite of late is jets, square. have a wonderful weekend! ~janel
Glad you're feeling better....we here in the Piedmont area of NC hardly ever get any "bad" weather....we are all hoping for a snow (and that would mean even heavy flurries!) because we don't ever get anything! Well, maybe a flurry every once in a blue moon...Of course, the times we have gotten snow (or ice), well everything shuts down!!! Hee Hee!
Welcome back to land of blogging and feeling good. :)
Wow!
Take it easy!
Glad you are doing well!
It's 70 degrees here one day
And 30 degrees the next day...

Keep on standing...I know you will..
hey, you are so brilliant...come leave a quote for me!!!
I'm so glad you are on the road to feeling better AND nurturing yourself. I always look forward to your blogs. Love you dearly!
Aren't snow (ice) days the greatest things for us teachers? I just love the surprise of getting an unexpected day to stay at home. Hope your ice soon melts like ours has.
