There's No Place Like Home!
I'm home--finally and I gotta tell you I am so happy to be here. One of the perks of traveling is coming home. Don't you agree? Oh how nice it is to be among all things familiar--my bed, my couch, my kitchen, my bathroom and the list goes on!
The best thing of all, of course is my family. While it may appear that teens need their mothers less, I think the opposite is true, although I'm not sure my own kids would admit it. And of course it's always weird when I'm away from my hubby. I've gotten kinda used to him over the past 25 years. Oh, and don't forget my baby girl (mutt) Payton. She squealed with delight when I walked in the door. Matthew is home from college this weekend too. Yep, I'm a happy camper.
While I know this world is not my final destination, I'm sure glad I have a place here that I can call home, at least temporarily.
There's nothing like being away from home to provide a new lens from which to see things. Yes, I've got to agree with Dorothy, "There's no place like home!"

amen and sometimes i think the Lord just needs to take me home before i blow it anymore. :)
I am seriously going to try to the lemon juice approach and report back. I was just too cheap to purchase the rinse aid tonight. I mean for crying out loud it is like 5 bucks. I could buy a new shirt for that price! I will report back with my results!!! We are some serious night owls unless we are on completely way off time zones. 12.43am here.
That's one thing I always miss while being away...my bed. There is nothing like the comfort of your own bed. Glad your back.
Yes I will be there. I'm so excited and cannot wait. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Hi! I am so sorry about your Uncles! : ( I am so glad the funeral went well and I LOVE how you and the priest used the same scripture! That is so COOL I LOVE how God does that kind of stuff!
Your blog is awesome! I LOVE all the clips : ) I have my first High Schooler this year! YIKES a new phase of my life! I know I'll have to be on my knees! He is 15 I also have a 14 year old girl and almost 13 year old boy! (can't leave out the 8yr old "the baby" girl) So I am getting ready to hit it full force! I wish I could come to your Sunday school class! I can tell your an awesome teacher! I also love that you are going to be real with them! I think that authenticity is so important! I remember thinking for years after I came to know the Lord that the teachers had it all together! That is why I love Beth so much she is SO real about her strugggles etc!!! I hope you have an awesome weekend! God Bless! Emmy : )
Hello Profbaugh
I am kristib and I am one of your siestas. We have so much in common! I teach Public Speaking and Interpersonal Commuication at a small womens college called Meredith in Raleigh, NC.
I have been married to my husband Scott for 20 years. We have no children but we have a beloved cocker spaniel named Gumbo. I will have to post his picture on my blog.
I love a lot of the same movies you listed. Do you show clips of movies in your Interpersonal class? My goal is to show at least one movie clip for each chapter. I use Looking Out Looking In by Adler and Towne for my text in Intepersonal. What text do you use?
Please visit my blog and learn more about me. I am still working on my profile.
Love ya in Christ
Kristi B.

I totally agree...I love home so very much!
I LOVE that movie:)
Anyway, to answer your question I am doing both studies, I am the one reading the book...but Disciple isnt that hard, it is much easier than's Beth studies, I have done " Jesus the one and Only, and " Daniel", and forever I am in the middle of Online, " Believing God".
I have learned from Beth Moore how to break down the scripture, so it is much easier to learn, so no worries lady:)
I hope you will stop by every tues and check it out, I am LOVING that book:)
