I am thrilled, too. Actually, when Ali won, I jumped up and SCREAMED!
It is interesting that this post follows your "Relanguaging" one, Cheryl, because I paid close attention to how Ali spoke; she always maintained that she would be the Biggest Loser. Both Ali and the other female finalist, Kelly, worked extremely hard. But I noted this: Kelly said numerous times, "I want to be the first female Biggest Loser. I want this more than I've ever wanted anything." Ali, however, outright claimed and proclaimed that she WOULD BE the first female Biggest Loser. I find myself wondering how much both Ali's mindset and the words she spoke impacted the outcome.
However Ali did it, I am positively delighted for her!
WELCOME to my blog. I don't know how you stumbled upon it, but I'm sure glad you're here. I hope you find something that blesses you. I'd be tickled pink if you'd leave me a comment.
